Recorded around 1997. Early stuff, almost proto-Six Organs. This is a cover of a song off of the first Deerhoof record, the one they had to record very quietly in a kitchen because they didn’t want their neighbors in the apartment building to complain. I believe the band was only Greg and Rob at this point (right after they left Nitre Pit). Can’t recall if this is before or after I started Badgerlore with Rob. I'm pretty sure that is my bird at the time, Bilbo (a lovebird), in the background at the end. Maybe not though. Will need an expert bird call person to let me know.
